Hello, I'm Lina Maslo, a Ukrainian-American children's book author and illustrator. I write my own stories and illustrate them. I am also interested in illustrating books for other traditionally published authors. I have a passion for nonfiction and historical fiction, but I love fiction, too!
I just finished writing and illustrating my third children's book, THREADS: ZLATA'S UKRAINIAN SHIRT, which is published by FSG/Macmillan and is now available!
My other books include FREE AS A BIRD: The Story of Malala (2018, Balzer+Bray/HarperCollins), which is a Library Guild Selection as well as a CCBC Choice and the winner of the Living the Dream Book Award; and THROUGH THE WARDROBE: How C. S. Lewis Created Narnia (2020, Balzer+Bray/HarperCollins).
